Valve Connection with Pipe
Whether the choice of connection between the valve and the pipeline or device is correct, it will directly affect the chance of pipes & valves to generate running, randing, dripping, and leakage.
Common valves connection methods include: flange connection, clip connection, welding connection, threaded connection, card sleeve, clamp connection, self-sealing connection, etc.
1, flange connection
The flange connection is a flange on both ends of the valve body, corresponding to the flange on the pipe, and is installed in the pipe through the bolt fixed flange. The flange connection is the most used connection in the valve. The flange has a bump (RF), a plane (FF), a convex concave (MF), etc. According to the shape of the joint surface, it can be divided into the following:
1.1 Smooth: For valves for high pressure. Machining is more convenient
1.2 Confucius: high working pressure, can be used in a hard washer
1.3 Tongral: Washer having a large plastic deformation, widely used in corrosive media, better sealing effect.
1.4 Ladder Trough: Using an elliptical metal ring for washer, uses the valve of the working pressure ≥ 64 kg / square centimeter, or a high temperature valve.
1.5 lens type: The gasket is a lens shape and is made of metal. High pressure valves for working pressure ≥100 kg / square centimeter, or high temperature valve.
1.6 O-shaped: This is a newly new flange connection form, which has developed with the emergence of various rubber O-rings, which is more flat in the sealing effect.
