What is Different between Butterfly Valve with Pin and Without Pin

The butterfly valve is a valve that uses a circular butterfly plate as an opening and closing part and rotates with the valve stem to open, close and adjust the fluid passage. The butterfly valve is not only simple in structure, small in size, light in weight, low in material consumption, small in installation size, but also in small driving torque, easy and fast to operate, and also has good flow adjustment function and closing and sealing characteristics at the same time. For low-pressure applications, butterfly valves are the dominant valve form. It is widely used to cut off or adjust the flow of medium in industrial pipelines of low pressure, medium pressure, high temperature, steel, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, electric power and so on.

Three-dimensional eccentric metal hard seal butterfly valve:

1. The axis of the valve stem and the sealing surface of the butterfly plate are offset by a dimension A, and the axis of the valve body channel is offset by a dimension B. The rotation axis of the valve seat and the axis of the valve body channel form an eccentric angle α, thus forming a triple eccentricity. When the butterfly valve is opened from 0°-90°, the sealing surface of the butterfly plate will be separated from the sealing surface of the valve seat immediately at the moment of opening. When it is closed at 90°-0°, only at the moment of closing, the conical sealing surface of the butterfly plate will be Contact and compress the conical seal of the valve seat. Therefore, there is no friction between the valve seat and the sealing surface of the butterfly plate, eliminating the possibility of wear and leakage.

2. When the butterfly valve is closed due to the triple eccentric structure, the sealing specific pressure between the two sealing surfaces of the sealing pair is generated by the driving torque applied to the valve stem. It not only eliminates the reduction and disappearance of the sealing specific pressure caused by the aging, cold flow, elastic failure and other factors of the conventional elastic valve seat elastic material, but also can realize the arbitrary adjustment of the sealing specific pressure through the change of the external driving torque, so as to make the triple eccentricity The sealing performance of the butterfly valve is improved, and the service life of the butterfly valve is also greatly increased;
