Pneumatic Butterfly Valve Pressure Test Method

Pneumatic butterfly valve is composed of pneumatic actuator and butterfly valve. 1. Test steps of pneumatic butterfly valve housing
 

Use the anti-rust liquid at a temperature not exceeding 38 degrees to test on the butterfly valve hydraulic test platform; the shell test pressure is 1.5 times the maximum allowable working pressure of the butterfly valve at 20 degrees; the pressure holding time is N50-DN150 60s; DN200 120s DN250-DN300 180s DN350- DN500 300s; Close both ends of the butterfly valve, the valve is partially opened, fill the valve housing with test medium, drain the air in the valve body cavity, and gradually increase the pressure to the specified test pressure, and keep the test pressure under the specified time Change, and then check the conditions of the valve housing; the test results require: there should be no structural damage, and no visible leakage is allowed.
 

2. No-load operation test of pneumatic butterfly valve

The drive device is installed on the butterfly valve, and the valve is operated from fully closed to fully open and then fully closed to open and close the butterfly valve 3 times to check whether the butterfly valve is operating normally;

Test structure requirements: the butterfly valve can be opened and closed steadily, without jamming, and can meet the sealing requirements.

3. Seal test of pneumatic butterfly valve

Use the anti-rust fluid at a temperature not exceeding 38 degrees to test on the butterfly valve hydraulic test platform; the sealing test pressure is 1.1 times the maximum allowable working pressure of the butterfly valve at 20 degrees; the pressure holding time is N50-DN500 60s; one end of the butterfly valve is closed, Close the valve opening and closing parts, fill the valve cavity with test medium, and gradually increase the pressure to the specified test pressure, keep the test pressure unchanged within the specified time, check the leakage at the other end, and then repeat the above steps and actions to turn the valve Change direction test; test result requirements: there should be no structural damage, and no visible leakage is allowed.
